Super Fit is a locally owned and operated 24hr fitness facility.  When becoming a part of our family, you will be warmly welcomed and taken under our wing.  There are many options from basic memberships, personal training, private or small group sessions are available.  

Owner, Charles Schultz, has been in the fitness industry since 2007, from membership consultant to personal training manager.  Using that experience he has put together the best of all worlds when creating the Super Fit environment.  

At Super Fit, we are focused on providing multiple services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to exceed your expectations. Charles Schultz

My name is Charles Schultz, and I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember. My passion and dedication for athletics landed me a scholarship to play baseball at Youngstown State University. During my time there I was a two time All-America selection, All-league and All-tournament selection while being a part of the first Horizon League Championship and NCAA tournament qualifier in school history. While at school I became very involved in strength training and began to expand my knowledge leading me into the fitness world after my playing career ended.

I have been training since the beginning of 2008 and have worked with several local athletes and teams providing strength and conditioning programming. I have a strong passion for helping young athletes develop into the best version of themselves, whether that be training them mentally or physically. I’ve coached or trained over 20 collegiate athletes in the last 3 years, with another 12 currently being recruited. In today’s world of specialization there are more movement issues than ever in our athletes, my goal is to create a strong balanced training program that will allow my athletes to develop while reducing the likelihood of injury.

My experience as a college athlete allows me to understand what it takes to make it to the college level, and how to succeed once there. I believe in being a constant learner and currently hold a NASM-PES (Performance Enhancement Specialist), NASM-CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist) certifications, CPR, and I am working on my masters from Ohio University in Coaching. I look forward to hearing your story and how I might be able to help.

Kyle Sharp

I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Kyle Sharp and I am co-owner of Super Fit
along with Charles. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Business
Administration along with 35 years of experience in healthcare, with 30 of those
years in management.

My fitness journey started in my early 40s, prior to that I would go to the gym,
exercise a little and try to eat right but nothing ever really worked for me. During
this time, my weight would yo-yo up and down with my highest weight going to a
whopping 273 pounds. I’d hate to see what my BMI or XXXX would have been
during this time but that was the last thing on my mind. At my highest weight 273
pounds, I decided that I didn’t want to live my life this way and that I wanted to see
my daughters grow up, become productive members of society and hopefully be
able to experience being a grandfather. Today, I am a proud grandparent to my first
grand-daughter.

At age 44, I started my journey to a healthier life, exercising hard 6-7 days a week
and counting calories. Although counting calories is not the best way to lose weight,
it got me started off on the right foot. Today, I’m not only counting calories but I pay
close attention to my intake of grams of protein and carbohydrates and continue to
work out 6-7 days a week.

I’ve set several personal records (PRs) over the past several years while on this
journey. I’ve participated in several boot camps, run lots of 5Ks, and finished a 10.5
mile tough mudder, and a half marathon. I’ve also set PRs in the gym with my pull-
ups, bench press, and deadlifts. One thing that I’ve learned during this journey is
that it’s all about my personal best. I stopped comparing myself to others a long
time ago. What others might not do too well in, I might excel. Good luck on your
own personal journey, whatever it may be, it’s yours.
